Metro & Smartbar Host The Third Annual 23 Hour Party People
For the third year in a row, Chicagoans will have a spot to celebrate the transition out of daylight savings time (aka, the extra hour we get this upcoming weekend).
Saturday, November 2nd Metro/Smartbar will host their annual 23 Hour Party People, bringing in 15 plus DJ’s to the two venues over the course of - you guessed it - twenty-three hours.
Each year, Metro/Smartbar look to amplify the dual-venue experience from it’s previous edition. Fifteen-plus DJ’s will have sets throughout the day-long party including; James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, electronic producer Anthony Rother and Miami based electro/techno/Italo producer Danny Daze. Additional DJs include Detroit’s DJ Minx and a handful of Chicago DJs; Abigal and Zooey Glass (Manifest), Garrett David (Queen!), Michael Serrafini (Queen!, Gramaphone Records), Hijo Prodigo (FUTUREHOOD), DJ Heather (Lake Effect) and more.
23 Hour Party People kicks off at 7AM on Saturday and last through 5AM on Sunday. The event is 21+, will allow re-entry and offer a complimentary lounge area where food, coffee and snacks can be purchased. You can purchase your tickets to 23 Hour Party People below.
