Mamby On The Beach Music Festival Announces New Location + New Dates for 2019

Mamby On The Beach has announced both a new location and new dates for this year’s edition of the 2-day music festival. Chicago’s premiere beachside summer music festival will return for its fifth year on Friday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th at Montrose Beach. The new location on Chicago’s Northside offers additional space to accommodate three stages, beach-friendly programming and all-inclusive activities. After several years in the Bronzeville neighborhood at Oakwood Beach, Mamby will continue its growth with its move to Montrose Beach. Only a 15 min drive from downtown Chicago, and about a 5-minute walk from the Wilson Red Line CTA stop, commuting to to the fest will be more convenient for attendees than ever before.

This year React Presents (Founded in 2008, producing several major music festivals and over 600 concerts annually in Chicago and beyond) is partnering with Jam Productions (one of the largest independent promoters in the US, with 40+ year of experience from their headquarters in Chicago) which will surely result in a diverse multi-genre lineup. Headliners, lineup and tickets will be released on Monday, June 3rd. Past headliners have included Common, Spoon, Grizzly Bear, Russ, Cold War Kids, MGMT, Walk The Moon, Atmosphere, Local Natives, Flying Lotus and more. Past Chicago-based acts have included Jamila Woods, Saba, Whethan, Monte Booker, Rayvn Lenae, Kaina, The Burns Twins, Joseph Chilliams, DRAMA and more.
