Premiere • TD: 'Grand Prix' EP

It seems talent is all around us these days and once again a surprise upstart from the city is getting some shine as TD arrives today with the TheseDays premiere of his debut collection, Grand Prix . The four song offering is a long-time in the works and finds the crooner working alongside 2016 breakout producer Phoelix who laces the sinewy vocals with a proper path to travel. Back in the summer we teamed with TD for his first single, "Round Trips" and the growth since is palpable throughout here. Having talked to the man about what's in store, we should be hearing plenty more in the near future. For now, we caught up with TD to get some added insight on this one. TD • Take us through the concept of this project.

TheseDays • Grand Prix is a collection of 4 songs with a mix of R&B, Hip Hop and Jazz produced by Phoelix and written by me, TaDarrius .

TheseDays • How did this ep come about?

TD • After years of people telling me to take music to the next level outside of just playing the drums and producing I finally stepped in the full ram of music and began writing and becoming an artist. It usually takes an artist a bit of time to find their sound but working with a music guru like Phoe made that process easy. Both of our music geniusestogether helped me come up with a unique sound.

TheseDays • What's 2017 have in store for us?

TD • 2017 is big for me. I'm currently in California working on my official project and getting set to start performing. 

TheseDays • How would you characterize the kind of music you're making?

TD • I'd say I’m on90”s R&B vibe. 

TheseDays • What's on the horizon for TD?

TD • There's some big things coming in the future I can’t announce yet but 2017 is hella lit to say the least!
