The amount of times I've seen the name BJ The Chicago Kid this past month has reached an all time high. While the rest of the world gets to know this "newcomer", I'm wondering what took them so long. The success of his recently released In My Mind has put the national spotlight on BJ as he's been seen working with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper and more, but BJ has been paying his dues for years. A veteran with more than a handful of projects under his belt at this point, BJ The Chicago Kid never stopped working and his hard work is finally paying off.
Just a week after the release of In My Mind BJ offers up a new visual called "A Day In My Mind". The visual combines "Woman's World", a cut off the new album, and a brand new song called "OMG" featuring TDE's Jay Rock. Set in Los Angeles, CA, the short film has BJ and Jay Rock rolling through the city in a sweet Monte Carlo, but the mood and backdrop change quickly as BJ hits the studio to perform "Woman's World".
