Calez • "312"

The last month or so has seen a real re-emergence of Chicago's Calez, who has been throttling through the summer with a series of talented visuals and singles and today returned once again with a new video for his hometown-leaning track, "312".

Through out all of the ups and downs in the city of Chicago, Calez, is an artist who has a strong love for where he's from and wants to bring positivity and good energy to everyone around. This Animated video puts on display the diversity of the people of the city, the El, some foods and the beautiful, iconic skyline of the Second City.

He matches his melodic verses by showing off some of his production skills. Not only did he take care of the sounds but Calez himself directed and edited the film with some help from Nate Otto on the drawings. Calez is definitely someone to continuously keep an eye out for. He has recently put out work with some familiar names like Alex Wiley, Mick Jenkins, and Donnie Trumpet on his recent single, "Still Good", which you can check out on our pages as well.
