PERFORMED BY TINK

We last heard of Tink back in March with the post-Timbaland EP Pain & Pleasure. Now, fully invested as an independent act, she returns with a single steeped in emotional anguish and the confessional element that has garnered her thousands of loyal fans. “Different” finds the Calumet City artist at the tail-end of a turbulent relationship crooning “I'm not in the mood to cry anymore / That ain't the vibe that I'm going for.” It’s a straight R&B record with beautiful vocals, heartfelt lyrics and a promising teaser of what Tink will deliver in the forthcoming months.

If you know Tink, you know her best work has always come packaged in the Winter’s Diary mixtapes. With the hibernal solstice just a couple of weeks away and the fifth instalment already in the works, we recommend keeping an eye on Tink’s feed for new updates soon. Until then listen to “Different” above.
