Hometown Heroes and Oreofest Will Host Some of Chicago's Favorite Artists at Metro

Hometown Heroes: Polo G & Friends • Sunday, February 16th
All-Star Weekend in Chicago won’t just be a display of the NBA’s top talents, but of the city’s top musical talents as well. On Sunday, Feb. 16th, Polo G headlines Audiomack’s “Hometown Heroes” benefit concert featuring Chicago acts G-Herbo, Calboy, Dreezy, Tink, Heavy Steppers, Ann Marie, HappyBirthdayCalvin, as well as Memphis rapper NLE Choopa.
The show is a part from Audiomack’s nationwide Hometown Heroes concert series, which originates from their Hometown Heroes playlist that is regularly updated with numerous cities’ top and rising artists, of which Chicago is included. In partnership with Polo G & Friends, a portion of the show’s proceeds will also go to The Boys & Girls Club of Chicago, Polo G’s own AAU Basketball team, and the non-profit organization Erika’s Lighthouse.
General admission tickets are going for $41 while VIP tickets are going for $100. The all-ages show will take place from 3-5pm with doors opening at 2pm.
Oreofest • Friday, February 21st
On Friday, Feb. 21st, DJ Oreo hosts his signature Oreofest, another showcase of Chicago’s best names in hip-hop. Along with surprise special guests, listed acts include Lil Zay Osama, Joey Purp, Kami, Supa Bwe, Reeseynem, Young Tee Tee, S7EAZE and Baha Bank$.
Oreofest started five years ago in 2015 and has been serving a giant function for the city’s hip-hop scene ever since with all-star music lineups and DJs. This is a part of DJ Oreo’s push to grow Oreofest into one of Chicago’s biggest hip-hop showcases.
Tickets are on sale now for $26 advance / $36 day of. VIP Tables for Two are also available for $100. Doors open at 8pm with the show starting promptly after.
