Dim Mak and Steve Aoki Announce Outerwear Pop-Up at Chicago's Water Tower Place

 
 

Record label, events company and livestyle brand Dim Mak - founded by superstar DJ and producer Steve Aoki - has launched a pop-up shop in collaboration with outerwear brand Tatras. The pop-up will be held December 3rd-17th at Water Tower Place right on Chicago’s famed Magnificent Mile.

Steve Aoki himself will make an appearance at the store on Sunday, December 8th to meet & greet with fans. Additionally five fan customers who purchase something before 12/8 will have a chance to design apparel 1-on-1 with Aoki himself. Aoki customized bomber jackets, puffer jackets and parkas with his own color palettes and prints, reflective nylon fabrics and an assortment of Dim Mak embroidered patches for the Tatras collab. The collection features the latest in Tatras’s high performance fabrication technology amplified with Dim Mak’s signature sleek noise aesthetic.

Dim Mak Collection is a streetwear brand, born in Japan and thriving amongst the subcultures of LA, founded by Steve Aoki. In addition to collaborations with fashion and lifestyle brands like Converse and BAPE, Aoki debuted his own Dim Mak Collection streetwear line in 2016, which he later presented at New York Fashion Week in 2017. Aoki is also a global ambassador for international brands including ASICS and Diesel. Founded in 2006, Tatras made a name for itself in the international for high end down jackets and has headquarters in Tokyo and Milan.

Throughout the duration of the pop-up, Dim Mak has programmed DJ sets alongside a Light Show by Nanoleaf - make sure you stay on the lookout for some Chicago favorites to be announced in the coming days.
