House of Vans Chicago Announces Summer 2019 'House Parties' Lineup

House of Vans Chicago has announced their Summer 2019 lineup of “House Parties” featuring programming curated by the likes of Vince Staples, Anderson .Paak, pop singer BANKS, indie singer-songwriter Julien Baker and more. ‘House Parties’ will continue its tradition with the headlining artist curating supporting local talent. Additional experiences will include interactive art takeovers, immersive installations, murals and more. To support and elevate Vans commitment to up and coming talent, one artist will be chosen by the curator to open each House Party show. All of these events are surely to be a packed house, especially a rare reunion show from rock band The Rapture, legendary punk rockers Taking Back Sunday and hardcore band Converge. With the global platform that Vans puts on for artists, who knows who that special guest might be too. The parties will happen a few times a month May through August. In 2017, House of Vans Chicago joined London as one of two permanent Vans venues in the US. The venues is located at 113 N Elizabeth St in the West Loop. Programming is often free to the community and centers around music, arts and culture. The original House of Vans Brooklyn closed its doors last year but House of Vans continues to host pop-ups in cities like Detroit, Berlin, Paris, Montreal, Hong Kong and Mexico City.
