OHMME Featured on NPR's 'Tiny Desk' Series
Chicago’s favorite duo OHMME are featured on the the latest installment of NPR’s esteemed ‘Tiny Desk’ series. Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart (both on vocals and guitar) are joined by drummer Matt Carroll to perform four tracks off their critically-acclaimed 2018 album Parts. The album was #7 on our list of the ‘10 Best Albums of 2018.’ Tiny Desk Concerts is a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music at the desk of legendary National Public Radio host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C. Over 800 concerts have been performed since 2008, including acts like Chance The Rapper, Anderson .Paak, Noname, Leon Bridges, Jorja Smith, H.E.R., T-Pain, Mac Miller and more. OHMME has already been heavily touring most of 2019 and the rest of the year is packed too. Headlining North American dates are throughout May and June, a handful of festival dates this summer and a European tour with Wilco kicks-off in September 2019. The duo has a support slot for Jeff Tweedy of Wilco on August 10th in Evanston, IL — a part of SPACE’s ‘Out of Space’ series. Check out the full list of tour dates at ohmmemusic.com/tour.
