Chicago-based band Slow Pulp just announced they have signed to independent record label Winspear; a Bloomington, IN, and Queens, NY based label that also operates as a publishing and management company. The label is home to fellow Chicago band Divino Niño alongside artists like Barrie, The Lemon Twigs, Amy O, Majetic, Major Murphy and more. View Winspear’s full roster of label artists here.

Originally from Madison, WI — Slow Pulp is made up of childhood friends Alex Leeds (bass), Teddy Mathews (drums), and Henry Stoehr (guitar) who joined up with fellow Madison resident Emily Massey (guitar/vocals) for their project titled EP2. The band released their critically acclaimed sophomore EP The Big Day in May of 2019. Their 2018 singles “At Home” and “Steel Birds” have both racked up over one million streams on Spotify alone.

Slow Pulp is out on tour most of March 2020 with select shows alongside labelmates Kevin Krauter and Divino Niño and additional shows alongside Chicago band Beach Bunny. You can check out their website for full tour dates.
