Round Up • New Releases From Stunt Taylor, The Holy Kit, SD & More

Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Prov • "Shiver"

ProvSounds has impressed in the past with his hypnotic beat-making, taking the ambient sound and making it move. "Shiver" is more of the same, which is to say it's a very unique track that certainly is cold as hell. "Shiver" will be the first track off ProvSound's instrumental mixtape, one project that we at TheseDays will be eagerly anticipating. Heat your speakers up and give "Shiver" a spin.

Stunt Taylor • "Sauce"

We rounded up Stunt's "Maison Margiela" just the other day, and today we have David Alexander visuals to accompany "Sauce", one of the project's stand out singles produced by C-Sick. Stunt has been through it all, but he's got the sauce now. Kicking the year off right, Stunt Taylor continues a consistent yet underrated history of strong releases and maintains his spot on a short list of rappers really putting on for Chicago's west side.

SD • "Burn One"

Featured on his August release Just The BeginningSD braves the cold and lights up more than blunts in his Rio Productions directed video for "Burn One". As one of the more underrated names that was born from 2012's emergence of the Drill sub-genre, SD is by far the most consistent. Having delivered two solid projects in 2015, SD plans to keep the momentum swinging in his favor with the upcoming "Life of a Savage 5". While we wait on more details surrounding the release of that project, enjoy the wrap up of SD's last.

The Holy Kit • "No One" & "In-N-Out"

The Chicago native turned west coast living Kit seems to be embracing his new home and making plenty of time to record new music. After announcing the February 29th release of "I'm Not Here", Kit dropped off two new singles on the same day. The Holy Kit keeps his circle small in "No One" and animal style is not on the menu in "In-N-Out".
