Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Ethos • Punk Rock Pagoda: Past, Present, Future

Whether it be social activism, spoken-word poetry, or music, Ethos is on a roll. After recently releasing the debut EP Part Won with his group Thy Neighbors, Ethos is back with a new project Punk Rock Pagoda: Past, Present, Future. The project is exclusively produced by Cosmo and the end product is pretty eye opening.

See all you can materialize, Let go of the Past Accept your Present Manifest a Future A duel project featuring the revolutionary poetics of Ethos and the music stylings of Cosmo We are all Children of the Universe, this is for you.

G Herbo • "H to the Izzo Freestyle"

You know you have a classic when 15 years later your track is still being flipped by relevant young rappers. G-Herbo breathes new life into Jay Z’s original "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" with a fresh freestyle. G Herbo is currently touring with Pusha T and longtime associate Lil Bibby.

Killavesi • Killavesi Ep. 1

Initially gaining our attention with her work with Adamn Killa, a These Days favorite, Killavesi releases her self titled EP, “Killavesi Ep. 1”. She keeps it short but sweet with the three song project. Just enough to get to know her and her syrupy style.

Savemoney Reese (Ft. Malcolm London) • "dont.make.me.freestyle.at.the(grammys)"

Savemoney Reese links up with Malcolm London to release "Don’t Make Me Freestyle At The (Grammys)". While the Grammys have come and gone and Savemoney Reese may not have attended, he does have some freestyle bars for you. Produced by Save Money affiliate Eric Butler, Reese and Malcolm make a hot record effortlessly. The Save Money machine is still producing plenty of new talent regularly, keep and eye for both these rising talents in the future.

Westside Flee • "Life Rocks"

Westside Flee takes a positive approach with his new loosie Life Rocks. Definitely designed to envoke a head nod while listening, Westside Flee switches up flows with ease while spilling his (blunt) guts out to the audience. While the immediate future is uncertain for Flee, "Life Rocks" should be a good indication of where the new comer's head is at.
