In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Kay Karma • "Forest Gump"

Kay Karma is back again with a video for her newest release, Forest Gump. With infectious energy & confidence, a red-haired Kay dances in her Pink Floyd t-shirt and tells us that we better be able to back up what we say…period. Check out the video below and stream Forest Gump all summer long!

Killavesi • "Tired of Waiting"

After recently dropping “Know U Betta,” Killavesi is back again with a new video release for “Tired of Waitin.” The track features Vesi singing & storytelling over a chilled out Hi Tom production. In the video, Meade Erickson and Dad’s New Boyfriend team up to give us a glimpse into Vesi’s life by showing her singing through a beautifully drippy filter. Keep an eye out for more from Killavesi and take a look at “Tired of Waitin” below!

Calez • "Operation Takeover"

Calez on the double double as he delivers us a brand new song on his own heavy hitting production. "Operation Takeover", a song where Calez consistently informs us to be free and be ourselves. Along with the brand new song, in his lyrics he announced August 19th Calez will be delivering us his brand new mixtape, "Baby". Check the song out below and mark those calendars.

Lloyd Dotdot (Ft. Pseudo Slang) • "Lay Low"

LLoyd Dotdot of the WHOevers and Pseudo Slang join forces for "Lay Low", a lowkey night time ride where the two rappers demonstrate their skills as MC's with all the ease in the world. This is the confidence of artists who recognize their abilities, and while the song is definitely on the less-hype said, it's exactly the kind of thing to listen to on a quiet day or evening. Check it out, and lay low.

New Kingz • "Kream"

Ali and Lucas G of New Kingz bring in their new song "Kream", and the track is as rich as the name suggests. More sing-song than you'll usually hear from New Kingz, the first of the first track is melodic and natural before breaking down into something a little heavier. Underrated and over-talented, These Days will continue to advise keeping New Kingz on your radar.

Quotes (Ft. Def Poet) • "Wonderful"

If you're looking for quality words, Quotes is here to give them to you. The Chicago rapper drops a new solo release in the form of "Wonderful", teaming up with frequent collaborator and partner in crime with their rap group Retrospect, Def Poet. The sunny wordplay on display here is sure to brighten any morning. Quote us on it.

Wave Chapelle (Ft. Yung Satori) • "Hold Up"

Milwaukee has been creating a nice little buzz recently. Hitmakers Wave Chapelle, Yung Satori, and Maajei Vu connect and dish out a new wavy summer anthem. Maajei Vu and Wave Chapelle have been doing a great job of connecting and making hits over the past couple of years. "Hold Up", as DJ Khaled would say, "it's a vibe", this song is filled with energy, and one of those you quickly replay because it's so catchy. Don't miss the wave, check out the new song below.

Love At First Sound •  'Audra'

With his first debut project Audra released July 2nd of 2016, the R&B / Hip-hop artist by the name of “Love At First Sound” hits us with a new wave. If you haven’t heard of this him, he is someone to get hip to if you enjoy good vibes and melodies. Love's talent seems to be limitless as he not only raps but sings, writes, records, directs and produces mostly by himself. Much of his mind-state is shared to the world, tied to a load of stressful sincerity behind the microphone. The title given to this album was in thought of his older sister, who’s voice is heard throughout the project serving as the angel on his shoulder, keeping him on the right path to success while maturing as a man in a big bad world.

Sey • "Reduce Me"

Chicago's new lyrical hip-hop artist ’Sey’ recently drops a hot new track called 'Reduce Me’. In this melodic, wavy beat, Sey spits about the daily rigors of living as a young man on the come up. The confidence in his delivery claims evidence that this new lyricist is going to stay inside the studio honing and perfecting his craft. Sey definitely holds the skills to rock the mike.  The track ‘Reduce Me’, produced by ‘fate’ provides listeners a relaxed experienced mixed with Sey's lyrical versatility. Checkout this track and hear for yourself; you'll more than likely hear more hip hop jams from the Chicago artist.
